Humpback.

Since covid I have been spending more and more time in the sea. I love surfing and being out in the water is the most calming and healing thing I know. Through this I have renewed my love of the sea and everything in it but I have also become aware of what a fragile environment it is and how much we as a species are affecting it.

For me the greatest animal that lives in our oceans is the humpback whale. Whales are incredible creatures anyway but the humpback holds a special place in my heart and is one of the most expressive and relatable animals in the sea. If you are ever lucky enough to see them with your own eyes you will know how astoundingly beautiful they are and why we should be doing everything we can to save them and their home.
